Commercial Project Could Attract Future Industrial Growth in North Apple Valley

According to the Victorville Daily Press, April 12, 2016, the Planning Commission’s unanimous approval of a 10-acre, 80,480-square-foot commercial project adjacent to Interstate 15 could open the door to significant growth within the borders of the town’s North Apple Valley Industrial Specific Plan. Located at the northeast corner of I-15 and Dale Evans Parkway, the Apple Valley Gateway is expected to bring a three-story, 84 room hotel; a 3,500-square-foot restaurant; a retail building of more than 10,000 square feet and two gas stations. The project would no doubt result in property and sales tax revenue and also support the town’s growing industrial base and continue to enhance infrastructure improvements in north Apple Valley.
