Concrete Plant That Could Supply 500 Jobs Moves Dirt in Adelanto

According to the Victorville Daily Press, December 12, 2016, Clark Pacific celebrated breaking ground on its state-of-the-art concrete manufacturing plant that could bring as many as 500 jobs to Adelanto and potentially be a $25 million annual earner. The plant, which will open sometime in 2017, will produce precast concrete structural products for parking structures, retail stores, auto dealerships and others. Clark Pacific had acquired 111 acres of land on the southwest corner of Holly and Koala roads. The plant will serve Southern California, the Central Valley and Bay Area. Clark Pacific will, however, spend about $2.5 million in road and infrastructure and up to $12 million during the project’s first phase, which will cover roughly 45 acres. The company plans to spend as much as $4.5 million over two phases in fees and infrastructure in the project area.
