Developer Plans 155 Homes in Victorville

According to the Victorville Daily Press, June 8, 2015, the creation of a new development with 155 homes may be another sign that the local economy is rebounding. Legacy Homes plans to unveil its new Springfield tract community, within the master-planned community of West Creek, with the grand opening of two model homes during an open house event. Located north of Hook Boulevard between Diamond and Cobalt roads in west Victorville, Springfield will join Legacy Homes’ existing Copperfield tract in the West Creek development. Robin Everett, a sales representative with Legacy Homes said Springfield’s single-story, 1,834-square-foot model, the smallest in the group, includes three bedrooms, two baths and a den and comes in at $222,990. The largest model is a two-story, 2,653-square-foot home that includes four bedrooms, three baths and a loft, selling for $262,990. Legacy Homes was one of the few developers building houses in the city during the Great Recession, opening the Copperfield tract community in 2011. The tract was announced with 115 homes, and Everett said all but three of those have been built.
