Krispy Kreme Coming to Victorville

According to the Victorville Daily Press, August 12, 2015, the City of Victorville’s Planning Commission adopted a resolution to approve the building of a new Krispy Kreme restaurant, the first of the famous donut franchise to come to the Victor Valley. The restaurant, slated to be completed in 2016, will be located on the southeast corner of Roy Rogers Drive and Civic Drive, between Panda Express and In-N-Out Restaurants in the Desert Oasis Plaza, according to the Commission’s agenda for Wednesday’s meeting. Site plans approved by the Commission show that the future restaurant will boast a 3,050 square feet location with a drive-thru lane. “We’re excited that another major national retailer has chosen to build in Victorville,” said City Manager Doug Robertson. After completion, the new Krispy Kreme restaurant is expected to operate seven days a week, 24 hours a day, and will employ 8-10 employees on a given shift, according to agenda documents.
