Major I-15 Project in Victorville

As mentioned in the Victorville Daily Press, April 18, 2017, as part of a $76 million reconstruction project to Interstate 15 interchanges, Caltrans officials said that D Street traffic patterns will be reconfigured until mid-July. “The new configuration allows for one lane in each direction, with traffic utilizing two of the four-lane highway,” Caltrans said in a statement. “The remaining two lanes will be completely blocked off for bridge pier construction.” The major I-15 interchange effort began a year ago. It will ultimately reconstruct interchanges at Stoddard Wells Road and D and E streets, widen the separation overhead and Mojave River Bridge, and replace the Stoddard Wells Road overcrossing, when it is completed by the end of next year. Corona based Ames Construction Inc. was awarded the project.
