New Developments Near the La Mesa/Nisqualli Interchange in Victorville

As stated in an article in the Victorville Daily Press, November 19, 2018, nearly five years after the completion of the La Mesa/Nisqualli Interchange project, a new Home2Suites Hotel has opened, with several more upcoming projects near the freeway interchange. The four-story, all-suite extended-stay Home2Suites Hotel is located west of Interstate 15 on the southwest corner of Amargosa and La Mesa roads in Victorville. The 106-room hotel includes spacious suites, a common area business center, indoor pool, large exercise room and Spin2Cycle laundry facilities. Projects east of the interchange include a Circle K located on the southwest corner of Nisqualli and Balsam roads, which includes a 5,881-square-foot convenience store, automated carwash and 10-pump fueling station. The construction of the Circle K convenience store and gas station has begun. Construction plans for a Beyond Food Mart and fueling station are currently under city review. The project would be located approximately 300 feet east of the northeast corner of Balsam and Nisqualli roads and will include a 7,250-square-foot gas station on 5 acres, with phase two of the project incorporating a 25,000-square-foot, two-story office building. The city anticipates the start of construction on the Premiere Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in early 2019. The 170- bed skilled nursing facility is planned for the northwest corner of Eleventh Avenue and Winona Street. The city’s Planning Commission approved the facility and has also received approval from the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development.
