Officials Celebrate Underway Adelanto Neighborhood as Sign of Residential Resurgence

As stated in an article in the Victorville Daily Press, July 21, 2017, the ribbon-cutting for a 65-home neighborhood was lauded as a reawakening of the residential property market by its developer and city officials. Stone Briar by Frontier Communities is the biggest residential development in the city to launch construction this year, according to Frontier spokesman Mike Fisher. Located off Highway 395 and Cactus Avenue, the development has already sold 32 homes even though model homes were only just completed for showcasing. Some of the model homes range between 1,639 to 2,002 square feet. In general, officials have viewed interest from the residential real estate sector as a sign of the industrial market boom’s positive residual impacts. In May, the city’s Planning Commission also approved a tentative tract map for 88 single-family homes on a 25-acre lot proposed by a Hesperia developer. Its plan site is located on the north side of Seneca Road between Aster Road and Calendula Street.
